[vc_row][vc_column][mk_image src=”https://fds.org.pl/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Obszar-roboczy-1pasek.png” crop=”false”][vc_column_text]Foundation for Somalia cordially invites professionals working in the area of diversity and migration to its three- day capacity building workshop aimed at providing some practical skills to understand issues connected to diversity management while working with people from various cultural and ethnic background.

The main target group is represented by professionals who are dealing with migrants ( adult educators, trainers, professional staff, training providers, migrants training centers, NGO officers, enterprises) wishing to develop their competences in inter-cultural education and diversity management in order to provide better support to immigrants. The aforementioned target group will play key role of the project. Furthermore, migrants will have opportunities to develop needed competences for integrating better into society and working life through the design, development and piloting of a Competences Shadowing programme. Their participation is also considered crucial for the success of the project.
This workshop is a part of the intellectual output under the COMPe4Mi – Tools for Tools for professionals to assess and develop migrants’ competences project.
This three-day workshop will focus on four thematic areas and a local mini conference:
Theme 1: Cultural Competences and Multiculturalism
Theme 2: Practical Examples to analyse intercultural situations and conflicts and solutions
Theme 3: Experiences, approaches, tools and practices in working with third country nationals for integration
Theme 4: Diversity Management and cultural mediation
