– Human mobility became one of the most typical features of modern societies. Currently more than 230 million people are migrants. With the ‘Złote Wachlarze” award we try to emphasis that migration is a very important factor in human life. It’s about making choices, gaining profits and experiencing loss. But there is a challenge, too, when it comes to immigrants’ ability to integrate into broader society. There are benefits: economic, social and cultural – said Anna Rostocka, Director of Polish IOM Office.

– It’s not an individual award. It’s a prize for the entire team of the Foundation for Somalia. I have a dream now: I want to see more and more talented and compassionate people joining our team. Together, step by step, we can make the world a better place.
