The felt constitutes an integral part of Kyrgyz life. The Kyrgyz yurt is build on it. There are also felted carpets, clothes and various ornaments hanging on the wall. Toys can be made from the felt too. And actually we would like to invite you for felted toys workshop! It is very easy and pleasant to do and it will prove you the leader of the workshop – Elmira, who is from Kyrgyzstan but lives in Poland since 2011.
Why toys? There is also one more reason – “Mikołajki” are comming! If you don’t have any idea for a gift, such a felted toy would be a great concept. You can make it fast but also show your creativity and put your heart in it. We all know that the best gifts are those made for someone having him in mind.
It is also a chance to meet other culture. During the event you can ask Elmira questions concerning the life of Kyrgyz people.
This workshop is FREE, but due to limited number of places, earlier reservation is necessary. The form to fill is linked below. There is one rule – first come, first served.
