MIVA: first football match!

UPDATE (July 6, 2019)

Foundation for Somalia in collaboration with Etnoliga organised the first football match as part of the cross cultural activities designed for the migrant integration through volunteering activities (MIVA) project. The main objectives of this activity are:

– Education and the promotion of positive values associated with sport e.g. teamwork, commitment and fair play.

The trainer for this football match was Krzysztof Jarymowicz, an expert in the cross cultural sports.

Foundation for Somalia in collaboration with Etnoliga will be orgaising the first football match as part of the migrant integration through volunteering activities (MIVA) project.

Date: 06.07.2019, 12:00 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Place: Orlik przy Bażantarii, Przy Bażantarni 3, 02-793 Warszawa

The main objectives of this activity are: Education and the promotion of positive values associated with sport e.g. teamwork, commitment and fair play. It will also provide the opportunity for social interaction and community building by developing a sense of communal identity,bringing people together and encouraging understanding between groups.

We provide referee, first medical help, water and a cup for the winners. We plan two groups of 4-5 teams, semi-finals and finals. Sign up via email or by Facebook. Our usual outdoor rules apply: 7 players on the field including a minimum of two women. Fair play and fun are obligatory.
