Nature Connection for Supporting Integration Project – Kick Off Meeting in Sweden

Between April 25–27, 2025, we successfully held the Kick-Off Meeting for our Erasmus+ project, “Nature Connection for Supporting Integration,” in Kista, Stockholm, Sweden.

The meeting brought together partners from Sweden, Finland, Poland, and Czechia, marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to develop a Nature-Based Integration Toolkit aimed at supporting youth workers in working with young immigrants aged 16–30.

Over the three days, we: discussed and finalized the project’s objectives, timeline, and activities; shared insights on nature-based methods for integration and community building; laid the foundation for the development of practical tools and resources; strengthened the partnership through open dialogue, planning sessions, and site visits.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the host organization, Somaliska Riksförbundet i Sverige, for their warm hospitality and excellent arrangements, which greatly contributed to the success of the meeting.

This meeting set a positive and inspiring tone for our project, reinforcing our shared commitment to fostering environmental connection, overcoming cultural barriers, and promoting inclusive societies through innovative youth work practices.

Project consortium consist of Somaliska Riksförbundet i Sverige (SRFS) from Sweden, Fundacja dla Migrantow Dobry Start im. A.G. Farah from Poland,LaDeni, z.s. from Czechia and AAR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION(ASDA) RY from Finland.

We are excited to move forward together and create meaningful impact!
