I

[/mk_dropcaps][vc_column_text]n the Foundation for Somalia we organize free of charge Polish language classes for our foreign friends.

We strongly believe that learning language is an essential part of integration. Ability to speak the language is crucial when it comes to communicate in the workspace, participate in cultural life or benefit from education system. It is all undoubtedly vitally important for integration. It helps migrants not to feel alienated.[/vc_column_text][mk_fullwidth_slideshow bg_position=”center center” images=”6305,6304,6303,6302,6301,6300″ effect=”slide” smooth_height=”false”][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][mk_fancy_title tag_name=”h3″ style=”true” color=”#00afec” size=”26″ font_family=”none”]WE HAVE CLOSED THE REGISTRATION FOR POLISH COURSES, BUT YOU CAN STILL SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION. It has been a year since I started helping foreigners learning Polish, as I did it myself several years before. What is most important for me is seeing the progress of my students. Speaking Polish fluently helps them to use language in everyday work, with friends, on the street and everywhere where necessary. My work gives me satisfaction, every day I can help somebody and this is most important to me!

[/mk_blockquote][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][mk_blockquote font_family=”none”]

It’s the second course that I teach in the Foundation – and the second time I have the pleasure to do that and work with interesting people. My students come from many parts of the world, each of them with different experiences, so observing their linguistic representation of the world is very valuable for me as a Polish literature student. The courses give me great satisfaction and I truly hope that I can share my enthusiasm with my students.

[/mk_blockquote][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][mk_blockquote font_family=”none”]

In the Foundation I observed something I was not fully aware of before. It stroke me how much learning really depends on motivation – being motivated helps to master Polish language easily!

[/mk_blockquote][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][mk_blockquote font_family=”none”]

There are more than dozen participants in the group that I teach. They are from Africa, Asia and Europe. Polish is often not even their second language, but third, fourth or fifth. In their polyglot portfolios they already have Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Persian, Turkish. What we are trying to achieve is to convince people that Polish is not a difficult language to learn, even though people usually – and falsely! – tend to think so.
