AMIF grant – “We support foreigners in Mazovia”

Project entitled “We support foreigners in Mazovia”, co-financed by the National Program of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the state budget.

Implementation period: April 2021 – June 2022
The project is implemented with the Foreign Languages ​​Foundation “Linguae Mundi” – Project Leader and the Polish Migration Forum Foundation.

The project is aimed primarily at entities interested in activities for the integration of foreigners, as well as foreigners, third-country nationals, staying in Mazovia. Activities related to the project are to increase the competences of staff working with foreigners and prepare foreigners for life in new conditions.
For staff working with foreigners, competence workshops are planned to shape skills for working with
the beneficiary, training in foreign customer service, and methodological training and workshops for teachers working with foreign children. The Foundation for Somalia carries out the following activities: organization of a consultation point where a lawyer, career advisor/career advisor and integration advisors are on duty, Polish language courses with elements of knowledge about Polish culture, organization of a series of information sessions entitled “ABC I Live in Poland”, ABC of Entrepreneurship – a series of trainings and advice on setting up and running a business in Poland, organization of intercultural events, organization of intercultural lessons in schools, promotional and information activities on the scope of activities carried out as part of the project.

In the period from January 1 to June 30, 2022, 217 people benefited from the support, 112 hours of ABC training were held, in which 45 participants in the Polish-speaking group took part – mainly from Ukraine and Belarus, also Russia and a few people from Georgia.
Integration advisors provided support in the form of 221 consultations for previously registered and 62 new unique beneficiaries registered in the FDS database, 88 legal advices were provided for previously registered and 59 new unique beneficiaries registered in the FDS database, 80 advices were provided for previously registered and 21 new unique beneficiaries.
