The project “Increasing access to a comprehensive range of specialist assistance for individuals and families with experience of international migration affected by domestic violence” is financed from the funds of the Capital City of Warsaw.
Duration: August 1, 2021 – November 30, 2023
The point has been operating continuously since July 2021 and provides support to culturally and linguistically diverse residents of the Capital City of Warsaw (people with migration experience), within which from January to December 2022 we conducted 1,781 consultations, and since the beginning of the year it is a total of 2,201 consultations.
In 2022, 7 different specialists worked at the point: a lawyer worked 205 hours providing 163 advice, and psychologists provided 363 hour-long specialist psychological consultations. In addition to initial consultations, the front desk conducted 190 consultations in the event of suspected domestic violence, and integration advisors (3 foreign women on different schedules) conducted 1,065 consultations. The advisors worked within their schedules.
Beneficiaries of stationary and specialist advice are registered in the database as unique beneficiaries and there were 237 of them in 2022, and we also provide support using social media and by phone at a dedicated phone number. In total, since the beginning of the project, we have provided support to 307 women.
In 2022, we organized 3 integration and educational workshops for women, 3 information sessions, and 12 hours of training for 62 people. In 2022, the 16 Days campaign was carried out, and our content reached almost 20,000 people.
